നിലവിലെ ഉത്തരവ് പ്രകാരം താഴെപറയുന്ന സാഹചര്യങ്ങളില് മാത്രമേ അക്രഡിറ്റഡ് ഏജന്സിയുടെ സേവനങ്ങള് സ്വീകരിക്കാവൂ എന്നു പറയുന്നു 5.1 സര്ക്കാര് അല്ലെങ്കില് പൊതു മേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനം ചെലവ് വഹിക്കുന്നതിനാലും പി.എം.സി ചാര്ജ്ജിനത്തില് അധിക സാമ്പത്തിക ബാധ്യത ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാലൂം ചുമതലപ്പെട്ട എഞ്ചിനിയറിംഗ് വിഭാഗം അല്ലെങ്കില് പൊതു മേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനം മുഖേന സാധാരണയായി മരാമത്ത് പ്രവൃത്തി നടത്താവുന്നതാണ്.
എന്നാല് ഭരണ വകുപ്പ് എഞ്ചിനിയറിംഗ് വിഭാഗത്തെ ഒഴിവാക്കി അക്രഡിറ്റഡ് ഏജന്സിയെ പ്രവൃത്തിയുടെ നിര്വഹണത്തിനായി (PMC) ഏല്പ്പിക്കുന്ന സന്ദര്ഭങ്ങളില് അത്തരം ഭരണ വകുപ്പിന് വേണ്ടി എഞ്ചിനിയറിംഗ് വിഭാഗം tri party agreement ല്ഏര്പ്പെടെണ്ടതുണ്ടോ. ഭരണ വകുപ്പ് (client )നേരിട്ട് തെന്നെ അക്രഡിറ്റഡ് ഏജന്സിയും കരാരുകാരുമായും Tri party agreement ല് ഏര്പ്പെടെണ്ടേ
If an Engineering Project (Civil Construction Work) of an LSGI is carried out by any agency as PMC, the Secretary of the Local Body shall be the Implementing Officer and the Engineering wing shall not be entrusted with any role in the project. This shall be applicable to projects in all schemes namely MLAADS, Budjet Fund etc. If work is entrusted as PMC, the whole responsibility shall be vested with the agency only.
